ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message[edit]

Scale of justice 2.svgHello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:18, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Are you serious?[edit]

You cannot close a debate you voted in. Please undo it or its going to DRV. Spartaz Humbug! 08:19, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

@Spartaz:, Per, WP:IAR, I WP:BOLDly closed the discussion because it had a WP:SNOWball's chance that it would be closed otherwise. The AFD is a month old, re-listed numerous times, with the final one not only producing nothing to build a deletion consensus, but being drawn out over its allotted 7 days. If you feel like my decision goes against IAR, free to send it to WP:DRV. I'll send it to WP:DRV. --wL<speak·check> 09:43, 12 March 2021 (UTC) (edited: 09:48, 12 March 2021 (UTC))
Just save the paperwork and undo it. You have no experience closing discussions so should just accept you are wrong. Spartaz Humbug! 11:11, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
I was given the choice to "please undo it or it's going to DRV". I chose DRV, please respect that choice and participate in the review. --wL<speak·check> 19:21, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

I would like to know if you agree with this edit: DIFF. (talk) 11:18, 14 March 2021 (UTC)

@, Please bring this up to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council --wL<speak·check> 01:17, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
The above advice is sending the IP editor down a rabbit hole unnecessarily. The WikiProject page where the IP editor started a discussion was marked as defunct in 2012 so I moved the discussion to the relevant article’s Talk page. Clear notification was provided.--Jeffro77 (talk) 02:21, 15 March 2021 (UTC)

@WikiLeon, You were once and active member of this group. Can you show me the notice that this group was closed, or otherwise became officially inactive? (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 18:53, 15 March 2021 (UTC)

@IP editor, the header of the WikiProject clearly says it is defunct. Aquillion already provided you with this information. Here's their diff: [1]. Here's the diff again from when the page was made defunct.[2]--Jeffro77 (talk) 21:57, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
